I’m back with the second part. Wahooo! I sound excited because I’m on a road trip myself right now with friends. What better way to spend a weekend?
I’m just going to launch right in with:
I think that Matter Prints already won when they made their byline ‘pants to see the world in..’
Our mission is to inspire consumers to value provenance – to ask of the where and why something is made, and champion alternative production models for textile artisans to expand their economic freedom.
Okay, when do we leave?
They just look so so comfortable! And the prints make me want to own every single one, no hyperbole here, mates. They are fun, functional, sustainable with flexible closures for personalized fit.
They are made for freedom of movement and occasion, emphasizing comfort without sacrificing style. Perfect for seeing the world in, and a symbol of empowerment.
We work with a curative philosophy inspired by tradition, sourcing heritage prints and styles and reinterpreting them for the modern nomad.
I love that their products are made by artisans. It is a very socially conscious brand and you should read all about the Ikat Weave and the Art of Blockprinting. Their Lookbooks have gorgeous photography too.
(Guys, psst, you’re not left out.)
(Oooh, you should also check out the #MatterTribe hashtag on Instagram and tell me if that doesn’t make you want to buy one of these pants, pack a bag and just go!)
Now, I know there’s too many good options for good travel shoes: from trusty old Chuck Taylors to Toms to Keds to..
However, I discovered Soludos while trying to decide which I wanted to feature in this post. They are relatively young, only 2010. Espadrilles are comfy, no debate. But what won me completely over were the photos from their collaborations with travel/fashion bloggers on their blog (check it out) because I can totally relate to people like me who have actually taken these to the road. Because I’m totally behind a brand who urges me to just travel, and often too!
Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did putting it together! Now, go. Travel! (Say aye if you’d want photos from my current trip.)
Have a great weekend!
