Pastel colours seem to be popping up a lot these days and I’m not complaining. I love the muted tone of pastel and how warm and soothing this colour palette is. Usually described as soft, near neutral, milky, washed out, desaturated, I imagined that colours in this palette would work really well in the bedroom. A quick trip to Pinterest confirms that I’m right (I usually am about these things :D). If you’re thinking of a bedroom makeover, how about introducing pastel accents?

The great thing about this is that you don’t even have make a great number of changes when going pastel – accessorize! You can still keep your white walls and use art, bedding, rugs, and introduce other small details around your space to incorporate that soft/washed out look. If you do want to paint, choosing an accent wall – perhaps in pale pink/blush – is a fun way to go.
