Of course you remember our darling TwentySix brand? Yes. I was excited to work with them on their newest lookbook. An additional point worthy of giddiness was that it was shot at the Nigerian Railway Corporation Compound in Ebute-Metta, Lagos. This place brought on some serious nostalgia – for a past that I wasn’t even present in. But the Jaekel House Museum (where some of the pictures were shot) had some pictures and even train models that helped visualize this past. The retail line, TwentySix, went brighter and more colourful with this lookbook. There’s more tulle, more denim, more patterns! You should know I’ve copped myself a few pieces. They even deviated from the staple skirt style in a new collaboration with AtelierNoyaka. The lookbook was shot by Kevin Akin-Abangwu. You can read more about it here.
