Of course you remember our darling TwentySix brand? Yes. I was excited to work with them on their newest lookbook. An additional point worthy of giddiness was that it was shot at the Nigerian Railway Corporation Compound in Ebute-Metta, Lagos. This place brought on some serious nostalgia – for a past that I wasn’t even present in. But the Jaekel House Museum (where some of the pictures were shot) had some pictures and even train models that helped visualize this past. [You should check out the work Legacy is doing – they are behind the restoration and running of the Jaekel House Museum.]

The retail line, TwentySix, went brighter and more colourful with this lookbook. There’s more tulle, more denim, more patterns! You should know I’ve copped myself a few pieces. They even deviated from the staple skirt style in a new collaboration with AtelierNoyaka. The lookbook was shot by Kevin Akin-Abangwu. You can read more about it here.

Here are some pictures from the shoot. I love how the pictures are warm yet edgy and I’m even getting some dystopian vibes. Enjoy!
