So maybe you travel a lot and like to collect postcards from all of your favourite cities (they are great souvenirs after all, not to mention cheap), or you have friends who travel and send you postcards, or you go to museums and art exhibitions and cannot help but buy a few on every trip, or you inherited a box of vintage postcards that you just cannot bring yourself to dispose of. By whatever means they have come to you, maybe you have found yourself with a bunch of postcards and mini photos lying around that you have no idea what to do with. Before you give in to the frustration and throw out your favourite pieces in the name of de-cluttering, why not find a way to display them in your space?

Visual impact without the clutter…

  • Stick ’em

This is one of the easiest ways to display your favourite postcards and mini photos. All you need is wall stickers, or thumbtacks (or a glue of some sort) and you’ll have art hanging in whatever corner of your space you choose.

I love how these are used to edge a doorframe. So cool.

Or they can even be stuck to a display table of sorts. If you have a glass table, you can organize the postcards in a grid and stick them under.

  • Frame ’em

I’m definitely doing this when I have over a hundred postcards.

If you’re lucky enough to have vintage postcards, you should let them shine in single frames.

This one was made with book covers, which I think is really rad, but you can also do it with postcards. Same idea.

  • Hang ’em

This DIY idea just takes coolness level to a hundred. Looks simple enough…

This one’s made with shower curtain rod.

  • Ledge ’em up

Use the idea of a photo ledge to create one for your postcards.

  • On the wire

I just love the idea of hanging stuff on a wire grid, whatever the size of the grid. See…
