I got fascinated with Debra Cartwright’s work when I accidentally stumbled upon her Etsy store while looking for cute art pieces online. Bless the internet and all the wondrous things it leads one to, like Debra’s Instagram feed, this short interview that helped me know her a bit better, and eventually her feature on Urban Bush Babes.

I have already talked about my love for illustrations and I’m sure by now it’s no secret that I’m an art enthusiast, so I’ll try really hard to resist the urge to gush and enthuse and wax lyrical. But it’s not everyday that one finds work that is feminine and minimal and without a doubt, captivating.

I love watching Debra’s work evolve as she takes on new challenges and pushes herself to do more. I love that I fall more and more in love with watercolor as I watch her work.
I’d definitely hang these up. Definitely!
